Godsons Coach & Travel of Leeds are a well established family run local Coach Operator, within the Yorkshire area. With over 40 years experience under our belts, we understand the needs of our passengers and are able to offer an un-rivalled professional service which will make any holiday or day trip more enjoyable.

It is for this reason that many of our first time travellers become regular customers.

The company was started in 1962 by John David Godson, a local haulier, and his wife Kath, who moved over from the transportation of freight to the transportation of people firstly starting with taxis. Due to the increase in the volume of people requiring taxis, the Company soon moved to minibuses, and the first 45 seat coach was purchased in 1964.

The Company went from strength to strength and became a real family concern, operating many holidays for groups within the Leeds and surrounding areas travelling to London and even Austria, being one of the first groups to visit Buckingham Palace, when it opened its doors to the public.

The two sons, Richard and Matthew soon came into the family business and since the sad passing of their parents are now the sole partners for the Company.

The Company still has the same values as at the start, with passenger safety, comfort and enjoyment being forefront, and now the Company offers a modern, friendly, professional service, treating each passenger like one of the family.

We offer a highly competitive coach hire service throughout the UK and Europe, or for group days or nights out, a visit to the coast, or other places of interest.

Our staff are fully experienced in route planning and timings and can organise any aspect of your coach hire requirements, from simply travelling to a venue and back to conference events, which require all aspects of shuttle run timings etc.

Our fleet of luxury coaches all meet with current EU safety legislation and all have seatbelts throughout. All our drivers are also CRB vetted for that added security and they must adhere to strict guidelines regarding EU directives on Drivers Hours and Regulations, so that any breaks which are directed by your driver are taken by law, for your added safety.

We offer a varying configuration of coaches for hire from 34, 49, 51, 53, 55 and 57 seats covering most sizes of group, with the 49, 51 and 55 seats having washroom with toilet, drinks making facilities, reclining seats with footrests, double glazing, DVD, radio, PA system, air conditioning and forced air ventilation, all of which helps to make your journey on board a Godsons Coach an enjoyable one.
